oh
my
heart!
is not this
melancholia
this ache of old
once so familiar,
close now upon me
in all fierceness and terror
as once more the darkness,
it calls out & in utter desolation
and bereft i lay there forgotten and no more

white vans
remind me of
the rusty boy
in the rusty shirt
blue eagle
blue eagle in a white van

“If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away.”
(Henry David Thoreau)

I live my life in widening rings
which spread over earth and sky.
I may not ever complete the last one,
but that is what I will try.
I circle around God’s primordial tower,
and I circle ten thousand years long;
And I still don’t know if I’m a falcon,
a storm, or an unfinished song.
– Rainer Maria Rilke

divine is when you have soft beautiful light streaming through the leaves
where the wind
the wind is lightly carressing your face
as the bittersweet taste of love
flows down your neck
and finds it’s way into your heart

jagajazzististhesound.
I was spell bound for every minute every second of those two splendid hours.
I was blown away, totally, utterly.
Thank you Jaga Jazzist, for showing me there are no boundaries.
And for showing me such incredible & complex beauty in your music.
I will always be a fan.

how long
can i lament
with this depressed
heart and soul
how long
can i remain
a sad autumn
ever since my grief
has shed my leaves
the entire space
of my soul
is burning in agony
how long can i
hide the flames
wanting to rise
out of this fire
how long can one suffer
the pain of hatred
of another human
a friend behaving like an enemy
with a broken heart
how much more
can i take the message
from body to soul
i believe in love
i swear by love
believe me my love
how long
like a prisoner of grief
can i beg for mercy
you know i’m not
a piece of rock or steel
but hearing my story
even water will become
as tense as a stone
if i can only recount
the story of my life
right out of my body
flames will grow

Today. it was the dancing rain that got to me
not the pretty green sparkles she wore
nor the patterns the headlights made in the frosted windows
but the wild abandon of the light feathery dancing rain
oh how they flew about and how they rejoiced in glee
i wished i could be like them
it made me cry
